Role: initial concept & execution in collaboration with Archi+ Architects

renovation & extension project designed in Naxxar (Malta). the original house is over 400 years old and used to have rooms accessible only through the open courtyard. a space was thus roofed over, creating an 8m high space. apertures were left strategically to allow a deliberate play of daylight throughout the day.
